A New Government Cohort Graduates from Our Power BI Program — and Their Dashboards Go Live

POTC in Riyadh has concluded its intensive training program in data analysis and dashboard building with Power BI, graduating a new cohort of employees from several government entities. The graduation ceremony broke with convention: rather than simply handing out certificates, each team presented the dashboard it had built on its organization's real data in front of peers and trainers.

The program was designed around the centre's 70% practical / 30% theoretical philosophy, with trainees working from day one on datasets drawn from their own organizations: performance indicators, transaction data, and operational reports previously compiled manually in scattered files. Over the course of the program, those files became structured data models and interactive dashboards that refresh themselves automatically.

From the Classroom to Decision Support

The impact did not wait for the program to end. Several dashboards built during the hands-on labs have already gone live inside the trainees' organizations, where departments now use them to track performance indicators and make operational decisions that previously required days of report compilation. Leaders from participating entities praised a training model that hands the organization tangible deliverables, not just attendance certificates.

This cohort is part of an expanding series of digital-skills programs the centre is running in response to the accelerating digital transformation of the government sector, where enabling employees to read their data and turn it into decision insights has become a priority for most entities. The centre's team will continue following up with graduates over the coming weeks as part of the 'after training' phase of its three-stage methodology, ensuring application continues and the completed dashboards keep growing.

Organizations interested in a dedicated edition of the program for their staff — built on their actual data — can submit RFQs to the institutional programs team through the centre's official channels.
